EdApps is a Young Enterprise team from Macleans College that has developed a Māori language app that seeks to give users a fun and interactive way of learning Te Reo Māori.
Recognising the importance of Māori language as part of New Zealand culture, the business wants to contribute to this by providing a fun and educational tool that aims to teach more people about the language.
Education in New Zealand is transforming from traditional teaching to keep up with the digital revolution. EdApps believe there are still gaps that need to be filled in the market and software developers still have some way to go to meet student needs.
EdApps hope to further develop this idea by adding features to the app to create a range of modern learning resources for today's fast-paced world.
