Year 13 Police Studies SADD Workshop

On Wednesday 19 May, the Year 13 Police Studies class attended a workshop held at the Bentley Pavilion.

Attended by Auckland Transport and Police Units, including several front-line Officers and Police Fitness Instructors, this workshop was held in conjunction with SADD (Students against Dangerous Driving).

Students participated in a range of activities including simulating a PCT (Physical Competency Test), navigating a Focus or Fail obstacle course using booze goggles and presenting their understanding of a SADD principle.

Ormiston Senior College and Tamaki College students, involved in the Police Pathway Programme, also took part in the all-day workshop.
