Year 12 and 13 Senior Prizegiving 2024

Friday 1 November 2024

10.00 am in the school Gymnasium

All Year 11, Year 12 and Year 13 students will be expected to attend the prizegiving on Friday 1 November and the prizegiving practices on Thursday 31 October unless they have a Cambridge examination on that day.

Year 9 and Year 10 students will remain at school and watch the prizegiving from their House Commons.

Students will be notified via email if they are a prize-winner.

Please note there are separate prizegivings for Year 11 students and Year 9 and 10 students later in the term.

Plan for the school day

Thursday 31 October

  • 1.15 pm - Years 11, 12 and 13 – full school practice
  • 2.15 pm - All prize-winners attend a practice in the Gymnasium
  • Year 9 and 10 students will attend period 4 and period 5 classes as normal.

Friday 1 November

  • 8.35 am – Form time
  • 8.45 am – Period 1 for all students
  • 9.20 am – Year 11, 12 and 13 students to the Gymnasium
  • 9.45 am – Year 9 and 10 students will watch the prizegiving from their House Commons
  • 10.00 am – Prizegiving commences
  • Year 12 and Year 13 students will then be released by their House Leaders for study leave
  • Year 9, 10 and 11 students will have normal classes period 4 and period 5.

Uniform
All students are to wear summer uniform but with black lace-up school shoes (polished) and the correct socks.

Parents and caregivers
All parents and caregivers are warmly invited to attend the senior prizegiving.

Parking
Unfortunately, car parking is at a premium with the school car parks allocated to official guests and staff. Parents will need to park on the road.
