Year 11 students of Spanish enjoy Mexican lunch

The Macleans College Year 11 Spanish class recently travelled metaphorically to Mexico.
Students visited the restaurant Mexico, located in Ellerslie for a taste of Mexican culture and cuisine. Students enjoyed the ambience and decor of the restaurant as well as the range of foods they sampled, from tacos to nachos, quesadillas to churros.
Having just read a short story set in Mexico, this was a fitting way to round out the year and learn a little more about a significant Spanish speaking country.
