Posted on November 30, 2016

Nikki and Katrina from Eastern Women’s Refuge visited Macleans College today to collect gifts for children living in their Refuge houses.

The Year 10 Textiles class researched, designed and made forty five ‘Happydolls’ for the five to ten year old children, while the Year 10 Hospitality class made over sixty gingerbread people.

Year 10 Textiles also raised over five hundred dollars through the staff bunting project, in which staff were invited to order custom made bunting. Orders were completed for bunting of various forms including Christmas, wedding and ones with teacher’s names for their classroom. New decorations for Snell House were also made.
