We Ride for Them - Macleans Students Cycling for World Vision

Posted on July 19, 2017

During the July holidays Year 11 students Wilhelm Muller, Waldo Singleton and Matthew Wilson undertook an epic 40 hour road cycling trip from Bucklands Beach to Rotorua via the Coromandel Peninsula to fundraise for World Vision.

The students came up with the idea themselves, having gained sponsorship from Avanti Cycles and spent alot of time planning for it.

Wilhelm, Waldo and Matthew (all Kupe House) used social media to keep their connections informed of their progress through daily posts of photos and video footage. Follow this link to view their updates.

It was an ambitious undertaking and one that you may like to support. Follow this link to their World Vision donation page.
