Vivian Lu adds another piece of silverware to her trophy cabinet

Maclean’s College golf team co-captain Vivian Lu recently won the New Zealand Amateur Stroke play title.
The competition was played at Paraparaumu Beach Golf Club from 18 – 21 March. Vivian, a National Golf Academy member, was one shot behind the leader going into the final round of the competition. She showed her grit, determination and mental strength to return an unbeatable score of four under.
Vivian has rediscovered her form this year. She has been the number one player of the winning Auckland Interprovincial Ladies team. She has also won the North Island under 19 championship.
Vivian (Batten House) is a pivotal member of Macleans College golf team which is unbeaten in the nine holes Auckland secondary school competition. Macleans College has qualified to play the final with the winner of North Harbour secondary school golf competition.
