Vietnamese international students explore the wonderland of Butterfly Creek

Two groups of international students from Vietnam recently had the pleasure of visiting Butterfly Creek.

Located near the Auckland Airport, Butterfly Creek allows visitors to get up and close with a huge range of zoo exhibits.

The students enjoyed exploring the tropical butterfly house – one of the largest in New Zealand. Observing the Australian Saltwater Crocodiles in their billabong exhibit was also a highlight for the students. The Buttermilk Farm provided an opportunity to interact with farm animals such as chickens, sheep and pigs.

Time spent in the living classroom offered the Vietnamese students a chance to learn about the animal world and connect with nature.

The visit concluded with a fun train ride and the purchasing of kiwi souvenirs from the gift shop.
