USA Soccer Scholarship

Former Head Boy, Kieran Paterson (Te Kanawa House 2011 - 2015) has been awarded a scholarship to play soccer at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio which commenced in January 2017.

In addition to this Kieran is studying towards a business degree. Prior to travelling to the USA Kieran was playing for the soccer team, Wellington Olympic, in the capital. He was also involved in coaching at Rongotai College.

Xavier University is a private Jesuit institution which is known for their competitive sports teams and high standard of education. Their soccer team in 2016 started the season ranked 10th in the country.
