Top Speakers in Auckland Schools Debating Competition

Macleans College debaters have recently been ranked in the top 10 speakers in the 2018 Auckland Schools Debating Competition.

Over one hundred and fifty students from the Auckland area took part in the competition.

The students have been invited to a prize-giving to be held at Auckland Grammar School on 12 September.

They are:

Premier Advanced

• Alan Zhang – Year 13 Kupe
• Yang Fan Yun – Year 13 Snell

Premier Junior

• Ranudi Lelwala  - Year 11 Hillary

Junior Open

• Abhinav Chawla - Year 10 Snell
