Tooth Group Dental

Dental treatment is free for secondary school students until the age of 18. The Ministry of Health strongly encourages parents to enrol students with a dentist when they commence secondary school.

Please find below information about Tooth Care Dental, contracted by the Ministry of Health, to provide free on-site dental services to secondary schools in Auckland.

Taking part in this service is not compulsory – Macleans College offer this service to parents/caregivers should they wish to receive dental treatment for their child at school through the mobile dental unit. Your child may already be enrolled with another dentist, which of course, is perfectly fine.

If you enrolled with Tooth Group Dental previously you do not need to re-enrol and no further action is required.
