Third place at National Tennis Championships

At the end of Term 1, the Macleans College tennis team travelled to Christchurch to compete in the four-day New Zealand Secondary Schools Tennis Championship.
The team of Kevin Li (Snell House), Olivia Brown (Snell), Parco Chu (Mansfield) and Hana Rose (Hillary) competed in the mixed competition where four singles and two mixed doubles matches were played each day.
Rain delays and extremely cold temperatures resulted in long days, but the team battled through to place third overall. This result was a fantastic end to the school tennis season.
