Term 1 Milestone Reports

Dear Caregiver

Our staff have worked really hard to complete the Term 1 Milestone Reports.

We have decided to publish these to the parent portal this week (Monday 30 March - Friday 3 April).

• Year 13 – Monday 30 March
• Year 12 – Tuesday 31 March
• Year 11 – Wednesday 1 April
• Year 10 – Thursday 2 April
• Year 9 - Friday 3 April

Please note that due to the school shut down we have not been able to complete our in house report checking so please accept our best effort under these circumstances. In other words some reports may not be complete. Also they are being published remotely.

If your child was absent during milestone week they will not have an attainment grade/mark.

Parent Portal

We encourage all parents and caregivers to access the parent portal through the school website.

The parent portal has a number of key features:

• It enables you to track the attendance of your son/daughter (note there is a 24 hour delay).
• It enables you to view school reports which they will receive on a termly basis.
• It enables you to view the school calendar so that you can see upcoming events for the year.
• Later in the year, students will choose their 2020 subjects on the portal.
• You can also view the extra-curricular groups that they join.
• Plus you can manage all your school finances.

Note that daily notices are still managed through the website directly.

A Guide to Reports for Parents

The Macleans College Board of Trustees will make available to students, parents and caregivers honest and open feedback on students' progress through a clearly identified reporting system.
