Table tennis squad place third in New Zealand

The Macleans College table tennis squad continues to find success at the New Zealand Secondary Schools Table Tennis Nationals.
The first team finished third in the 2022 competition in Hamilton. Members of the team were Leo Mamedov (Kupe House), Eric Deng (Mansfield) and Felix Chen (Batten).
The second team of Toby Xu (Kupe), Lucas Xiao (Rutherford) and Justin Cui (Mansfield) placed sixth.
Eric Deng also achieved fourth in the U19 individuals and Toby Xu placed fourth in the U15 division.
