Success at Head of the Harbour: Auckland Secondary School Rowing Championships

Last weekend the Macleans College Rowing teams participated in the annual Head of Harbour Regatta held at Lake Pupuke.
The school sent a full squad of rowers across all age ranges to this competition.
The Regatta proved to be successful with a total of six medals won in both boys’ and girls’ events. Notable results came from Harry Newbury-Lee and Heath Shepherd who both produced a silver and bronze performance, respectively.
The squad is now building towards the remaining three regattas of the season with the next to be held at Lake Karapiro in two weeks’ time.
