Students participate in Drama Workshop

On Tuesday 4 August the Year 11 MCert Drama classes participated in a full day workshop with Auckland based industry professionals from Massive Theatre Company (MTC).
MTC are a professional contemporary physical ensemble company, creating new theatre with emerging and professional actors, directors and writers. Their work comes from real stories, reflecting the rich diversity of Aotearoa.
Artistic director Sam Scott who founded the company over 25 years ago led the workshop and engaged the Drama students in a challenging and inspiring day of creation and teamwork with their peers. The workshop forms part of the MCert Drama students training for their Term 3 Devised Drama assessment in collaboration with the Year 11 MCert Music students.
The MCert Drama and Music students will be performing their original performances and compositions live in the Auditorium on the evening of Thursday 24 September.
