Strong Start for Lion Dance Performers

The Macleans College Lion Dance has been busy this term having completed three public performances already.

On Saturday 20 February the group was invited to perform at a Chinese New Year celebration for the Year of the Monkey, at the Howick library.

The lions impressed with their tricks and dance moves, and were a firm audience favourite. Mrs Samantha Bowie, teacher in charge of the Macleans Intercultural Club accompanied the performance troop on the day.
