  • Judges’ Special Award in Year 12/13 category – Andrew Yao (Upham)
  • Second place in Open category – Lisa Sandbrook (Snell)
  • Third place in Open category – Skyla MacDonald (Upham)

AUT was proud to host this annual event and invited secondary school students from the Auckland region, and from Northland, Bay of Plenty and Waikato regions, to showcase their Japanese language skills in a very challenging but good-spirited competition.

The Macleans College students were creative and presented a speech in Japanese on a topic of their choice.
