Senior Spanish Camp in Hawke’s Bay

From the 18th to 20th May, 16 senior Macleans College students of Spanish had the opportunity to immerse themselves into Spanish language, culture and cuisine at the Annual Senior Spanish Camp in Napier, Hawke's Bay.

A number of schools from the North Island come together to celebrate all things Hispanic. Around 100 students took part in this camp. A number of linguistic and cultural activities and workshops were organised by the ILEP Spanish Language Assistant team and Massey University, including Salsa dancing and cooking empanadas.

A thoroughly enjoyable experience with plenty of opportunities to use, explore and extend the students language skills.
