Senior Art students view contemporary Māori Art

Year 13 Macleans College painting and photography students visited Britomart and the Auckland Art Gallery on 8 April to view the Toi Tū Toi Ora: Contemporary Māori Art exhibition.
This is the largest exhibition in the 132-year history of Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki, curated by Nigel Borrell, and is a major survey of contemporary Māori art from the 1950s to the present day.
Over 300 artworks by 110 Māori artists are currently on display, including painting, sculpture, printmaking, clay making, jewellery and body adornment, photography, digital media, film and installation art.
