Senior art students undertake practical workshops

In week 9 of Term 3, the Visual Arts Department welcomed Bridget Burnett to the classroom to lead senior art students through a series of practical workshops.

Bridget is a printmaker with vast specialist knowledge gained through her long-standing role with National Art Supplies in sourcing fine art materials and educating visual art teachers throughout New Zealand.

Students were given the opportunity to view a wide range of possible processes and demonstrations in the use of materials. They then were able to test and trial a wide range of materials and techniques which they will be able to integrate into their current art practices.
