Eight of the 25-man training squad will then be selected to compete at the Brisbane State Championships in Australia in September.
Macleans Teacher and Rowing Coach Mark Clemo is again involved in the programme, having travelled with the Light Blues squad to Australia in 2015.
Thomas Duffett (Kupe) has also been selected into the Auckland Blues Squad as a Lightweight Athlete. The Blues programme is for Year 13 Students who wish to gain selection to the RPC programme which is one level below the New Zealand Elite Crews.
