Selected to represent New Zealand at the Australasian Economics Olympiad

Year 13 Macleans College student Mandy Jing (Batten House) has been selected to represent New Zealand at the Australasian Olympiad in Sydney, Australia next month, as one of the top five economics students in the nation.
A total number of 75 students entered the preliminary selection process and 16 were chosen for the selection camp held on 11 June at King’s College. Three Macleans College students Mandy Jing, Alan Niu (Rutherford) and Josh Radford (Hillary) were among those selected.
Mandy Jing was selected for the New Zealand national team, comprising of four other students. The competition runs from 12 to 17 July at The University of New South Wales.
