Second place at Teams Racing Regatta

The Macleans College Sailing Team recently had a very successful two days at the Teams Racing Regatta on the Waitemata Harbour.
The team, consisting of eight students including Luke Townend (Upham House), Tim McCulloch (Rutherford), Josh Marryatt (Hillary), Eben Wolfgramm-Jones (Snell), Carter Robson (Snell), Ben McKeen (Hillary), Logan McKay (Rutherford) and Nicholas Drummond (Snell) sailed twelve races over the two days against teams from all over Auckland.
Their many hours of training both on and off the water paid off as they came second overall, and have qualified in the Gold Fleet for the upcoming National Championship, which will be held in the April school holidays.
