Seaweek

The Macleans College Enviro group recently ran a Seaweek event near Eastern Beach which was well attended by both students and the public.

The aim of the week was to highlight the importance of the unique marine environment in New Zealand. It looked at indicators of health of the Macleans Park Stream which empties into the bay at Eastern Beach.

The group investigated the stream for the following; dissolved oxygen, pH, clarity and the number of living things found in it.
