Runners perform in challenging conditions at Road Race Championships

On Tuesday 16 August, 13 students represented Macleans College at the Road Race Championships at Bruce Pullman Park.
The runners were all in high spirits even though it was extremely windy with a very cold chill in the air.
Ben Oxford (Kupe House) finished 2nd in the Junior boys. Macleans College achieved 3rd place for the Junior Boys team consisting of Ben Oxford, Christian Geldenhuys (Batten) and Keagan Gouws (Mansfield).
The run of the day was from Christian De Vaal (Kupe) who led his race for all three laps. He took 1st place for the Senior Boys.
