Rowing Championships

The North Island Secondary Schools Rowing Championships were held recently at Lake Karapiro.

This major rowing competition resulted in an impressive performance by the Macleans students.

The Boys Under 16 Four gained a silver medal. This team was made up of Harry Newbury-Lee 12RCT, Jack MacDonald 12JCK, Heath Shepherd 11MGT, Will Ibbotson 11CAU, and the coxswain was Camille Dignadice 11KSR.

The Boys Under 16 Eight gained a bronze medal. This team was made up of Harry Newbury-Lee 12RCT, Jack MacDonald 12JCK, Heath Shepherd 11MGT, Will Ibbotson 11CAU, Waldo Singleton 10MLK, Patrick Boyle 10TYT, Daniel Pickles 12TKH, Leetham Beatt 10LOU and the coxswain was Camille Dignadice 11KSR.
