Rocket Lab Project Engineer visits Zonta Club

Last week the Zonta Club was visited by a guest speaker, Sarah Blyde - a former Macleans College student.
Sarah described her journey from a Batten House student (2006 - 2010) to her role as a Project Engineer at Rocket Lab.
Sarah discussed her current project which included a successful test launch to determine whether Rocket Lab would be able to retrieve their rocket back fully intact. This was followed by an interactive session where the group learned more about what they could do to further empower women and increase interest in STEM careers.
