Rhythmic gymnast tops Level 8 at Secondary Schools Nationals

The New Zealand Rhythmic Gymnastics Secondary Schools Nationals took place from 17 - 19 August at Barfoot & Thompson Stadium, Kohimarama.

Two Macleans College students competed against 17 other gymnasts in Level 8.

Year 10 student Alysa Lin (Batten House) placed first overall. Alysa finished fourth in hoop, ball, and clubs, and finished fifth in ribbon.

Year 12 student Sophie Smith (Te Kanawa) placed sixth overall. Sophie finished third in clubs, fourth in ribbon and fifth in ball.
