Promising Performance from New Look Sailing Team at Auckland Regionals

The Macleans College Team Sailing squad had a very enjoyable and successful couple of days at the Auckland South of the Bridge Regionals Regatta held at Kohimarama Yacht club recently.
The team had only trained together for a matter of weeks but performed really well improving every race over the two day regatta to finish an excellent second place in Silver Fleet. The future is looking bright for this young squad with a strong performance in the 2017 Nationals the big goal.
The successful squad were Captain Marc Lapusan 11SQU (Skipper), Vincent Lark 13MAS (Skipper), Sean Hepworth 13MAS (Skipper), Emily Banks 10OBT (Crew), Logan Martlew 10ARB (Crew), Ryan Doyle 10OBT (Crew), Silvie Arkless 9MRB (Crew).
