North Island Senior Ethics Olympiad 2023

Two teams of senior students from Macleans College recently participated in the North Island Ethics Olympiad.
This was a day-long event where students discussed ethical issues relating to art, culture, medicine, national duty and personal choice with students from 25 other secondary schools from across the North Island.
The competitors were judged on the depth of their analysis and the clarity of their ethical thinking.
The Macleans College students worked hard, showed great team spirit and received an honourable mention from the judges.
The Macleans College team were: Yiyang Cao (Batten House), Adam Choong (Te Kanawa), Amelia Hu (Mansfield), Annabelle Lee (Snell), Olivia Pokorny (Te Kanawa), Nishtha Prasad (Mansfield), Raj Walia (Rutherford), Clare Wang (Mansfield), Alston Yam (Mansfield) and Mabel Zhang (Te Kanawa).
