Night of Intercultural features diverse performances

The Intercultural Committee (ICC) recently hosted the highly anticipated Night of Intercultural in the Colin Prentice Auditorium.

With tickets sold out on both nights, the event featured culturally diverse performances – from Korean Drums and Gumboot Dancing to Siva Samoa and cultural singing. This, along with interactive games for the audience and a certainly surprising performance made by the executives, made for a very entertaining and memorable night.

Intercultural President Coco Ma (Kupe House) and Vice-President Wei Tian Teo (Rutherford), along with members of the executive team, Shafquat Tabeeb (Mansfield), Allan Han (Batten), and Lily Kim (Mansfield) coordinated and managed the smooth running of the popular event.

Many thanks to the MCs, Stephanie Chong (Upham) and Kirisitina Fata (Kupe) who worked hard to prepare the script and a great act to provide some comedy throughout the performances.

A special thanks to Mrs Hoshino, who oversaw the management of the event, Dr Miles, who spent hours putting together the lighting and sound for the stage, as well as all the teachers and the tech/backstage crew, for giving up time from their weekend to support the logistics of this event.
