New Zealand National Spelling Bee

Annika Lee (Snell House) has qualified for the final of the New Zealand National Spelling Bee.

The event is to be held in Wellington on October 27-28. The expenses paid trip will include a tour of Parliament and the final will be televised.

This is the fourth year in a row that a Macleans College student has qualified for the final. The school’s participation in this event dates back to 2008 when James Coventry (Te Kanawa 2008 -2012) was our first finalist.
