National title for Macleans College Triathlon athletes

Three Macleans College students Ronan Codyre (Batten House), Logan Marshall (Batten) and Rubin Whiteley (Kupe) recently competed alongside 180 participants at the National Secondary School Triathlon Championships held in Wanaka.
The Macleans team performed well with Ronan finishing 7th and Logan 17th in the Under 16 individual race. Unfortunately, Rubin experienced a puncture forcing him to withdraw from the race.
The team then went on to win a National title in the Under 16 tag team relay event.
