The Macleans College Athletics squad comprising over 30 students participated recently at The National Secondary Schools Athletics Competition held at Trusts Stadium, Waitakere in West Auckland.

The results were outstanding. Seven medals were won by the team. Many thanks to Mr Mahoney our sprint coach, Pat Hellier our throwing coach, Irene Lewis our high jump specialist and everyone else who contributed to the event.

The Junior Distance team achieved great results in the road race event. Their commitment and hard work was exceptional.
