Katrina Zhang 12DUT has been selected to play in the New Zealand Secondary Schools’ Symphony Orchestra.

This annual event, to be held in Christchurch in April involves Katrina completing an intense six-day orchestral course, culminating in two public performances.

The standard is exceptionally high and is widely regarded as a significant training ground for aspiring young players to membership of the New Zealand Youth Orchestra and ultimately to a career as a public musician.
