Muriwai NCEA Geographical Investigation

Posted on May 29, 2017

On Wednesday 24th May the Geography NCEA Level 3 classes visited Muriwai to collect data for their geographical investigation.

The students completed an array of techniques, such as longshore drift measurements and field sketches to enable them to answer a hypothesis that was set in the classroom.

It was a beautiful day and allowed the students to gather the important measurements they needed in perfect conditions.

As well as completing the collection of data, the students walked around Otakamiro Point to view the gannet colony and the remarkable tectonic landscape.
