Mega-Carnival to Fundraise for Cure Kids and Kiwis for Kiwi

Posted on June 19, 2019

Last month, Kupe and Rutherford Houses held the first mega-carnival of the year, with all proceeds going to Cure Kids and Kiwis for Kiwi.

The event featured food, games and entertainment which showcased the various cultures and talents of the whānau houses. Each form class ran a stall which contributed to the event such as Krispy Kreme, McDonald's, KFC, bubble tea, dumplings and many more. Weeks of hard work and organisation was put in by all the students.

The Kupe and Rutherford mega-carnival raised over $3000 which is a huge success for the two charities and reflects all the hard work and amazing effort. The charity ambassadors were greatly impressed with the hard work of the two houses and commitment for raising not only major funds but awareness for Cure Kids and Kiwis for Kiwis.

Thank you to everyone who was involved in making the carnival a huge success.
