During the April term break, two Year 13 students Courtney Chellew (13MNM) and Adam Mellin (13DXB) were selected to represent Macleans College at the Massey University Business Boot Camp 2016.

They were among 70 students from 38 Secondary Schools across New Zealand who gave up a week of their school holidays to immerse themselves in the world of business.

Throughout the week the students encountered a wide variety of inspirational speakers, from Massey lecturers to business leaders. Each day the students visited the offices of various firms including Air New Zealand, Jucy Rentals, Restaurant Brands, Chelsea Sugar, and BNZ.

"Business Bootcamp was an incredible opportunity which I was privileged to be a part of. I loved the experience of gaining friendships with like-minded students and engaging with successful business leaders" - Courtney Chellew.

"Business Bootcamp was an invaluable experience. I learnt so much and met so many great people. The lessons learnt are those that just cannot be taught in a classroom, which is one of the reasons why it was such a good week" - Adam Mellin.
