Macleans Touch Player Selected for NZ Under 15’s

Year 11 Macleans College student Sean Wilkie (Mansfield House) recently featured in a NZ Herald article after he was selected for the New Zealand Under 15 Touch side.
Sean’s selection to the team came after competing at the Junior Nationals in Christchurch. He will travel to Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast of Australia to take part in training before the tournament begins on 17 September.
The aim of the tour is to provide a pathway into the elite touch environment for skilled players with potential and offers an opportunity to experience a different style of game.
During the summer Sean plays for the Macleans College touch team and during winter he plays on the wing for the Macleans 1st XV.
