Macleans Staff Complete Round the Bays

Posted on March 07, 2016

On Sunday 6 March a group of Macleans College staff participated in the annual Round the Bays.

Round the Bays is one of the world’s largest fun runs and New Zealand’s largest mass participation sporting event. Competitors can choose to walk, jog or run the 8.4km journey from Auckland city along the waterfront to St Heliers Bay.

The weather was perfect with thousands of people stepping out for the occasion.

For their participation in the event, the staff participants jointly provided a morning tea to other staff during the week for a gold coin donation to raise money for the Bellyful charity that provides meals for families with new-born babies and, families with young children who are struggling with illness.
