Posted on June 13, 2017
On Friday 9th June, the ever busy Macleans Music Department ventured out into the local community to entertain a Howick audience at the Uxbridge Arts Centre.
As part of the Fridays at Twelve concert series, students presented a programme of instrumental and vocal solo and group numbers to a large and very appreciative audience.
The programme included:
Giovanni Trio performing Nino Rota’s Trio for Flute, Violin and Piano; Cecilia Zhang (Mansfield House) reliving her time in the limelight as Grizabella, singing Memory from Cats; Trio Capriccio performing Hermann’s Capriccio no.2; Yuna Otani (Flute) of Batten House performing Borne’s Carmen Fantasy; Trio Elegiaque performing Rachmaninoff’s Piano Trio no.1 and the Macleans College Chorale.
