Macleans College win Top School Award at Focus Art Exhibition 2023

Macleans College received the overall award of Top School in the recent Focus Art Exhibition 2023.
Fifteen selected artworks and textile pieces were selected to represent Macleans College in the exhibition which is sponsored by local business Davis Funeral Homes. The exhibition showcased fifteen works per school for East Auckland secondary schools. Awards were presented in the three categories of painting, photography and mixed media.
Individual awards went to;
- Jeslyn Zou (Hillary House) - first place in painting
- Jennifer Lum (Mansfield) - first place in mixed media for her textiles piece
- Hannah Ouyang (Batten) - third place in painting
- Anna Dupper (Te Kanawa) - third place in mixed media for her textiles piece
- Felix Yang (Batten) - highly commended in mixed media for her textiles piece
- Meagan Maritz (Mansfield) - highly commended in photography
