Year 11 student Charlotte Steele represented Macleans College at the recent North Island Secondary Schools Swimming Championships.

This year the event was held in Wellington and was hosted across three sessions where high school students raced in a fun and engaging competition.

Charlotte (Rutherford House) represented the school with pride and achieved some impressive results. She won a gold medal in the 100m breaststroke and bronze medals in the 100m individual medley and 50m breaststroke.

Charlotte’s efforts placed Macleans College 21st overall, which was a great result for a single-student team.
