Macleans College students of Spanish attend inaugural quiz evening

On Wednesday 10 May, four senior Spanish students took part in an exciting night of Spanish quizzing at Takapuna Grammar School.

This was the first time that this type of event had been held in Auckland for students of Spanish. The quiz was a mixture of questions about culture, sport, food, music, art, and famous Spanish speaking people. Students were tested on their knowledge of all things Spanish while enjoying snacks and lollies from Spanish speaking countries.

The evening allowed the Macleans College students to interact with other Spanish learners from around Auckland while practicing their language skills. The team enjoyed developing their knowledge of the Spanish-speaking world while being tested on topics they have recently been covering in class such as art throughout history.
