Macleans College return to Fridays @ Twelve

On Friday 30 June, a cast of 12 Macleans College singers backed by a five piece band presented a Cabaret at Uxbridge Arts Centre as part of the Fridays @ Twelve series.
The show, entitled Class of 2023 was a collection of contemporary musical theatre songs woven together by director Ms Burnett. The near capacity audience thoroughly enjoyed the performances which were lauded for both their vocal precision and diction.
The cast featured: Lise Becker (Hillary House), Lexie Buchanan (Upham), Kate Buchanan (Rutherford), Adrian Chan (Te Kanawa), Kieran John-Francke (Kupe), Hannah Liu (Rutherford), Isaiah Muller (Hillary), Anisa Prajitno (Batten), Faithfulness Saumani (Kupe), Gladness Saumani (Kupe), Gordon Situ (Rutherford) and Kelly Yan (Te Kanawa).
The backing band featured: Daniel Chan (Mansfield) – cello, Jay Kim (Batten) – guitar, Cavan Lau (Batten) – cajon/percussion, Gisele Lau (Te Kanawa) – keyboard, Mrs Swasbrook – keyboard and Ms Xie – bass guitar.
