Macleans College holds Amnesty Day

The Macleans College Amnesty International Club recently held Amnesty Day to raise awareness and advocate for the issues they have been focusing on this year.

One of these issues is raising the criminal age. Members of the club split into groups holding either an activity stall such as handprint mural and letter writing, or an information stall where quizzes and petition signing took place.

It was amazing to see so many students and teachers getting involved on the day, especially as there has not been an Amnesty Day for almost three years due to COVID-19.
