Macleans College Choir perform for Owairoa Primary School

A group of students from the Macleans College Choir visited Owairoa Primary School to join in the celebrations of their International Day.
The choir, led by Mrs McNabb, performed a number of songs that used a range of foreign languages. It was an incredibly rewarding experience as the students at the primary school were absolutely blown away by the level of quality that the choir produced.
This event is part of a wider relationship between Owairora Primary School and Macleans College through the local Kahui Ako – a group of education and training providers that form around children and young people’s learning pathways.
The choir students had a wonderful time performing for the primary school students and will hopefully form the foundation for more events for more primary schools in the future.
