Macleans College Chinese parents contribute towards new school van

In a fundraising event in 2023, 120 Macleans College Chinese families donated approximately $25,000 towards the cost of buying a new school van.
To acknowledge the generosity of these families, the school held a ceremony on Friday 17 May at the Bentley Pavilion.
Principal Mr Steven Hargreaves thanked the families who donated money towards the purchasing of the new school van, and praised the Chinese community’s long-term support to the school especially in academic studies and extra-curricular activities.
At the end of the ceremony, the new school van was unveiled by Mr Hargreaves, school Board members Mr John Ling and Mr Anson Lin, as well as Mr Eric Cao who represented the Chinese parents.
This new van will be integral to the school in supporting the students in their extra-curricular participation.
