Macleans College Chess Teams Move Forward

Macleans College entered four teams in the East Auckland Senior Inter-School Regional Chess Championships that took place on Monday 20 June, and came away with first and second place.

The Premier team, who were placed first, advances to the Inter-School National Chess Championship tournament that will take place in Palmerston North at the end of Term Three.

Premier team members are Captain Karl Zhu (Snell House), Richard Jiang (Upham) , Terry Shen (Te Kanawa), and Jasmine Zhang (Hillary).
